A world of opportunities

Students have the opportunity to take their learning outside the classroom with our Ag@Toora program.

Students, and staff along with Warrumbungle Education Centre staff built a chicken caravan that houses up to 30 Isa Brown hens.

The hens are tended to by students and produce eggs for cooking, with the surplus sold to the community.

Our students have access to:
  • excursions to Dubbo Regional Theatre performances, Sydney and Canberra experiences, Warrumbungle Young Leader program
  • incursions including travelling performances, road safety and the Life Education van
  • sporting schools offering wide range of experiences including wheelchair sports, taekwondo, ultimate frisbee
  • technology lessons including Lego We Do 2.0, Tablet Robotics & 3D printing
  • Swimming, athletics and cross country events.

Tailored learning support

We know every child learns in their own way. That’s why we provide tailored learning support to help each student do their best. Our programs meet different student needs. This includes high potential and gifted students, students with additional needs or disability, and those who need wellbeing support. At our school, your child will get the support they need to succeed.

We offer students:
  • student learning support officers (SLSO) in the classroom
  • teaching and learning adjustments
  • extension activities for students who need extra challenge
